Onumba.com, Nigeria ——–When I heard that Aliko Dangote had agreed to appear on Isbae U’s Curiosity Made Me Ask, the first question that came to my mind was, “What exactly is this interview going to look like?”

For those who may not know, Curiosity Made Me Ask is a show hosted by Isbae U, where celebrities and public figures are asked sarcastic questions that can sometimes leave viewers wondering how they came about.

Now, imagine having Aliko Dangote, the richest man in West Africa, on the show.

For one, Dangote is not someone we often see on this kind of show. The billionaire businessman is known for his investments across several industries, including cement, sugar, fertiliser, and, more recently, the Dangote Refinery, which has remained a major talking point in Nigeria.

Now, imagine bringing these two worlds together.

How did we even get here?

On October 19, 2026, Isbae U visited the Dangote Refinery in Lagos, where he had the opportunity to ask a question. Turns out, he turned that question into an invitation to the billionaire to appear on his show.

High-level pitching.

And Dangote agreed.

I am as surprised as you are.

In his response, Dangote acknowledged the importance of engaging younger Nigerians. He spoke about the need for older generations to share their experiences with young people so they could better understand the journey behind their achievements.

Now, this is where I think the world is getting interesting.

For years, when people wanted to hear from prominent business leaders, they often looked to television interviews, newspaper publications, business conferences, and other established platforms.

Today, content creators are building platforms that attract audiences, including audiences that prominent people like Dangote want to reach.

My grandmother hearing this will wake up from her grave.

However, Isbae U appears to understand this. A few weeks ago, he was able to get former President Olusegun Obasanjo to appear on his show. Today, he has successfully pitched the richest man in West Africa.

Someday, we might find President Tinubu on his show too.

Will you be surprised?
