Sean Combs, Founder & CEO of Bad Boy Records

Onumba.com — Reportedly, more than 120 people have come out to accuse P. Diddy of sexual assault. That’s a lot of people, a whole lot.

But even with that incredible raft of accusers, there could be more if history of this kind of court case offers any clue. For what P. Diddy is grappling with is a sprawling and salacious convergence of money, celebrity and sex ——– a juicy trifecta which often feeds the litigious opportunism (long-throat) in those who would crawl out to join the burgeoning symphony of accusations.

Now, it appears to be merely seen in a photo with P. Diddy sets the perfect stage for fabricating a sexual encounter(s) casting one as a hapless victim.

For now though, a legion of folks is accusing the 54-year old P. Diddy of a potpourri of sexual misconducts. More than 30 lawsuits have been filed against him ——– so far——– in what could become a riveting vortex of sexual encounters, drunken shindigs and a plethora of he said – she said.

But wait. Is he really guilty of these very serious crimes?

Well, that all remains to be seen.

One thing is for sure though: dude is in more hot water than a Chinese tea bag. Of course, acquittal is always a possibility, but the lollapalooza of embarrassment of being dragged through what is sure to be a salacious court circus would inflict an indelible stain ——— win or lose.

P. Diddy, whose birth name is Sean Combs is, of course, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Still, one can’t help but recoil at the drip, drip, drip of hard evidence against him to see the looming doom of a man who is in a heap of trouble.

For his part, the wealthy founder of Bad Boy Records has emphatically denied all the charges brought against him.

But boy, even if he did nothing wrong, the road to proving his innocence will be littered with broken bottles, barbed wires and rusty nails.

It ain’t gonna be pretty.

As the saying goes, where there is smoke, somewhere in there is fire. And it could be a volcanic inferno given that a head-spinning cavalcade of folks are claiming to be victims.

Mr. Combs’ saga had quietly simmered out of public scrutiny for a while, with the media barely glossing over it. But that all changed after a video footage of the music mogul surfaced in which he was seen in a rage pummeling and kicking a helpless woman in a hotel hallway.

Prior to that shocking video, there had been muted whisperings that Diddy was abusing women and boys. But the whisperings failed to gain traction until the mind-numbing footage of the hotel shellacking was revealed to the utter disgust of the public, eventually triggering law enforcement investigation of the music executive.

Mr. Combs was subsequently arrested and thrown into jail now facing a laundry list of serious charges including sexual assault, abuse, rape and human trafficking often involving coercion, violence and drugging.

Diddy’s request for bail was denied, even after offering to pony up a whopping $50 million. He is worth nearly $1 billion and can afford it. But while money is able to fetch him a pricey Rolls Royce and a cool Lambo, it can’t buy him freedom, not in America. Judge Arum Subramanian cited the safety of the community, the possibility of Diddy interfering with the case and then the concern of absconding as reasons for denying bail.

There’s a long a long, long way to the end of this mess. So, stay tuned.
