Onumba.com, Nigeria ———- The internet space experienced what it had never experienced before since the third year of VeryDarkBlackMan coming into the limelight.

The online police, who refers to himself as the fourth arm of the government, received heavy criticism from the general public after his involvement in the Peter Psquare Okoye case.

It all started after Peter Okoye, the twin brother of Paul Okoye, decided to share his own side of the story online, which he described as his truth.

The story came in different parts, which he labelled in numerals. In total, it contained nine parts, which he posted on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

The story had millions of Nigerians glued to their screens, especially because of Peter’s beautiful oratory skills and his ability to back his statements with clear evidence.

Prior to this time, Peter Okoye had never publicly spoken in any video or anywhere about his family scandal. It had always been Paul Okoye and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who delivered speeches on several podcasts, where Peter was made the object of insults by many Nigerians.

So, a lot of Nigerians were shocked and happy to finally hear from him.

Then came VeryDarkBlackMan.

Nobody expected him to appear right in the middle of the family matter of the Okoyes, trying to debunk some of the narratives that had taken Peter many years to finally speak about.

Everyone was confused and wondered what his business was in the Okoye case.

Were the Okoyes his in laws?

Or his cousins?

Or his foster family?

Or what?

Nobody could tell.

But Nigerians suddenly couldn’t take it.

This online police, who refers to himself as a “god,” was going to be put in his place.

And they did.

The entire media couldn’t take a three year old celebrity talking down on their childhood favourite. Not even his Ratel movement could bear it.

So, they corrected him.

 

But, like you would expect, he isn’t taking the correction so well.

He has already released several videos in response, which an average Nigerian would probably describe as “damage control.”
And for the first time since he came into the limelight, it seems the online police may have finally met a situation where Nigerians are not willing to let him have the final say.
