Onumba.com, Nigeria ——— If you want a prime example of everything wrong with prosperity gospel, look no further than Televangelist Creflo Dollar.

Dude truly takes the cake.

Dollar, 64, is a prosperity theology big leaguer and a front-line apostle of lavish indulgence on the dime of his impoverished congregants.

Heck —- he doesn’t even try to camouflage it anymore.

Creflo Dollar ——- with a name that literally translates to money, he embodies the darkest and most predatory face of prosperity theology.

This guy is full of crap.

“Giving to the church is giving directly to God,” he said, That’s cap and crap. God never asked for a Gulfstream airplane.

“Sow a seed and expect abundance” because “God wants believers to be wealthy.” Again, that’s vapid nonsense, straight-up bullshit and a heightened theological absurdity.

Hey, sow all the seed your little heart desires, dream all day if that soothes you, but action ultimately is what builds wealth. Not seeds.  And with prayers rooted on faith, the almighty God might unleash a shower of favor to crown your grind.

Stop sowing seeds and giving your money to a dude called Dollar.

Dr. Bishop Adeniyi Adeyemi, GMD of DealClinchers Limited, a real estate company, recently decried this kind of sermon after he appeared on NIDA City Podcast with Host Kemi Adeosun.

“Any faith that is absolutely dependent on God for everything is an irresponsible faith,” he said.

“You must work hard, then God will bless your work.”

Mind you, this is the same brazen rascal who not long ago tried to bamboozle gullible members of his Mega World Changers Church International in the Atlanta area into fetching him a $65 million Gulfstream G650 airplane. Yet, many of his congregants navigate life without cars, some with old vehicles while others rely on public transit.

The absurdity of that request punted the story to national spotlight where it received a torrent of broadsides. But Dollar defended his request, arguing that it was to fly him to far-flung places quicker to redeem lost and wandering souls. He certainly is one of the lost and wandering souls needing redemption. If you believe this dude, then you are just as treacherous minded as he is.

Dollar’s message is about faith, but his lifestyle is pure luxury. He preaches sacrifice, but demands a private jet, none of which would draw the imprimatur of Jesus Christ.

What’s the source of all that dough?

If Creflo Dollar is a man of God, then I am a flying nun.
