“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. In my mother’s house, I am a queen…”
You must be familiar with this statement made by the 25-year-old Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, who was married to the 65-year-old Nigerian senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, as his fifth wife.
The marriage crisis became public in October 2025 after Regina accused the Senator of domestic violence, while Ned, on his part, accused Regina of drug abuse.
The allegations went back and forth after Regina left their matrimonial home, sharing her side of the story with Nigerians and the world, while Ned also used social media and press statements to present his own side.
Now, almost one year later, Regina has been spotted in Ned Nwoko’s compound during a livestream by one of her stepsons.
The same Ned Nwoko that it seemed both of them could never see eye to eye?
The same Ned Nwoko that accused her of drug abuse and released several statements about her on social media?
The same man Regina spoke about in very negative terms, describing herself as a victim of his schemes?
Now, one year later, she is spotted in his house.
With one of his sons.
And to crown it all, when she realized she was being recorded because her stepson was doing a live video, she immediately ended the live video.
Trust Nigerians to make their best of this information.
Turn left and it is:
“So Regina went back to Ned!”
Or:
“Dem no dey put mouth for husband and wife matter.”
Some major influencers have even contributed to the matter, either laughing about it or offering their opinions. One of them is the very popular VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM.
But has anyone actually confirmed that Regina has returned to Ned?
Not really.
There has been no public announcement from Regina confirming a reunion, and being spotted at the compound does not automatically mean that the two have reconciled.
She has children with Ned, so there could be several reasons for her being there.
But for a lot of Nigerians, it is not even about whether they are back together.
It is the surprise that, despite everything that was said and done online, she could still go back to his house.
And now, the predictions have started.
That very soon, it will not just be his house.
It will be his life again.
As the adage says, it is easier for an old firewood to catch fire.
Time will tell.
