Onumba.com,USA ———- President Trump’s chaotic era is all over.  He blames it all on the cop-out that he wasn’t a candidate.

But while it’s true Trump wasn’t on the ballot, his seismic footprints were visible on the campaign trails.

Despite deploying his characteristically cantankerous style to boost his endorsed candidates ——– his political brand, his signature swagger, MAGA influence and his trademark bravado —– all collapsed in one fell swoop ——-proving that his menacing approach could no longer lift his favored candidates to victory.

Forget the brutal Iran war, forget the high gas prices, never mind the soaring grocery cost, disregard the crisis of Medicaid loss for struggling folks, forget all of that ——— Trump’s closing argument as the campaign drew to a close was weighing in on the ultimate “backside” match-up between Ohio Senator Jon Husted and crooner Nicki Minaj.

Let that sink in.

But with elections now in the rear view mirror, Minaj should go and complete her immigration paperwork.  She would have to tiptoe back into the black community where she would be expected to explain what her political hobnobbing with Trump was all about.

Many in the African-American community have labeled her a sellout.

And Trump himself —— saddled with a pitiful approval rating of 32 percent led a spate of GOP candidates, most of whom he handpicked, across the country, to a colossal shellacking.

Let’s kick things off with poor Husted who became the butt of the “anatomical backside” joke , yet emerged out of the saga crushed at the polls. Soon, he will be arranging for a U-Haul truck to move his stuff back to Ohio where a triumphant progressive titan Sherrod Brown is set to reclaim his senate seat, only two years after he lost it to businessman Bernie Moreno. Brown received 50 percent of the votes compared to Husted’s 45.2 percent.

Still in Ohio , Democrat Amy Acton drubbed GOP candidate billionaire Vivek Ramaswami ——- with Acton getting 52.3 percent of the votes to Ramaswami’s 44.4 percent.

Acton —— a medical doctor and former Director of the Ohio Department of Health will replace outgoing Mike DeWine who is term-limited —— becoming the first elected female governor of Ohio.

Meanwhile, a deflated Trump returned to the White House where he spoke to reporters, but completely sidestepped his party’s humiliating rout at the polls —— rather focusing on his pet project building a massive White House ballroom.

Yeah ——– why not talk about the exciting topic of “White House ballroom” ——– never mind that a category 5 storm has just hit the political structure causing a seismic shift in the equilibrium of power in Washington D.C.

“This has been a structure the likes of which has never been seen anywhere,” the president said, about his beautiful ballroom.

How about this? This election has been lopsided in favor of Democrats the likes of which has never been seen in a long time.

The sprawling carnage swept across the entire country with Democrats gaining control of both chambers of Congress ——– which by the way, could spell doom for Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth as both potentially face impeachment.

The embattled Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar representing District 5 will retain her seat after clobbering her heavily Trump-backed GOP opponent John Nagel. Omar corralled a whopping 77 percent of the votes compared to Nagel’s 16 percent pittance while independent candidate DeVelle Jackson came in third with 7 percent.

On the campaign Trail, Omar became Trump’s leading talking point, but the vitriols and hostility had the opposite impact. In her victory speech, Omar said that Democrat’s massive victory across the country sent a message to the “bigot in the White House and his friends that we are not going to be pawns in their game.”

Democrats made significant inroads in the deep south. Keisha Lance Bottoms made history after becoming the first Black governor-elect of ruby red Georgia —— gobbling up 54.3 percent of the votes to shut down her GOP opponent millionaire Rick Jackson who ended up with 45.7 of the votes.

Gina Hinojosa received 52.8 percent of the vote, trouncing incumbent Governor Greg Abbott as she gets set to become the first Democrat elected governor of deep south state of Texas since Ann Richards who served from 1991 to 1995.

In Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed also made history becoming the first Muslim Senator-elect. He received 52.5 percent of the vote while his opponent took 45,5 percent. In his victory rally, he sought to highlight his identify and Islamic faith by declaring his full name ——- Abdurahman Mohamed El-Sayed.

Yep ——— United States Senator Abdurahman Mohamed El-Sayed.

Get used to it.

Ehhem ——– with Democrats poised to take control of both the House and Senate, what now happens to Ilhan Omar’s case?

Also, will a Democratic led Congress move to regurgitate one, two or all of Trump’s legal troubles that summarily vanished as soon as he became president?

Just asking.
